As a Latino, moving to the United States wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. As I moved into my new neighborhood, I saw how tech-savvy my neighbors were and how they had given so much attention to the smart home devices in their homes.
This compelled me to get a couple of smart home devices for my home, and my experience has never been better! Here’s a list of devices that I have found to be exceptionally helpful!

Smart Speakers
If you live alone, then you’ll need something that entertains you when you try to blow off some steam. One great way to do that is to buy a smart speaker for yourself. Smart speakers can do a lot more than just play music. For instance, some speakers can learn your music-playing habits, and they can play music automatically at the time you usually do.
With a smart speaker, you can also change your music using voice commands. Just engage the speaker and ask it to play a specific song for you. This saves you the hassle of taking out your phone, opening apps like Spotify, and then manually playing music.
Some smart speakers can also work as voice assistants for you. For instance, if you get Amazon’s Alexa, not only does it work as a voice assistant, but it can work as a smart speaker. Along with playing music, it can tell you about the latest news and what the weather is going to be like. You can also translate languages, which makes it super useful when you want to translate something from English to Spanish!

If you think cleaning is a hassle, then consider getting a robot vacuum for yourself, such as the Roomba. It tracks the layout of your home and cleans it on its own! Not just that, but it also has a mop mode, which can clean marble flooring with the absence of a carpet!
